When using the NFS G1000 hardware, I've noticed that all the controls on the G1000 audio panel seem to have no effect (i.e. clicking "COM2 MIC" doesn't actually switch anything in X-Plane, nor does it switch anything in the software-implemented audio panel in the NFS G1000 software). Is there something special I need to do in order to get the hardware audio panel to work? Reason this is important is I'm trying to use the sim with PilotEdge. (Note that the audio panel buttons interface with the sim correctly when using SimConnect.) Note: I believe this is the same issue that paden501 calls out in his post here. Any line of sight to a fix?

I've run into several issues with the transponder in X-Plane where the setting in the NFS software is not being reflected in X-Plane (which is important, since the values in the sim are used for communication with ATC services in PilotEdge). More specifically: 1) If you set the squawk code through XPDR -> CODE and then type in the squawk code, the squawk code gets set correctly in X-Plane. [Correct behavior] 2) If you set the squawk code through XPDR -> VFR, the code in X-Plane does NOT reset to 1200. [Bug] 3) The transponder mode (STBY/ALT/GND/ON) does not do anything in X-Plane. [Bug] 4) Transponder IDENT in the NFS G1000 also doesn't trigger the appropriate ident command in X-Plane. [Bug]

I'm getting an "Oops! Uncaught Exception Occur!" error every 2nd or 3rd time I start the NFS software. I'm not sure how to get any additional information for you on what caused the crash, as there are no error codes or logs that I'm aware of.

Hey guys! Awesome unit and software - thrilled to finally have it integrated into my panel! With that said, I've run into quite a few bugs when pairing the NFS G1000 software with the AFM Mooney Acclaim. These include: 1. There's occasionally an incessant "stall, stall, stall, stall" voice alarm that occurs, even when I'm on the ground, and seems to occur at certain throttle settings. I'm trying to figure out how to reliably repro this one - this may be an issue on the AFM side as opposed to your software. 2. The actual Mooney Acclaim's MFD display has indicators for the rudder trim, the elevator trim, and flap setting (see image below). These are obviously really important since there's no other indicator on the panel for them! 3. The AFM Mooney's electrical bus and A/P master switch setting don't have any effect on the NFS G1000 (the G1000 stays on when the master is off or any relevant breakers are pulled, and the A/P master switch doesn't control the autopilot as it should). Also, to simulate emergencies, it would be awesome to have the G1000 shut down when there's an appropriate issue with the battery or alternator. 4. There are some issues with the electrical system values - it shows the voltage as 37.7V (which is incorrect - should be ~28, as in the sim), and the battery amps are constantly zero. 5. The Acclaim has two batteries (BAT1/BAT2) that can be switched from one to the other - the NFS software always assumes there's only one battery. 6. My own physical sim panel is powered by a Teensy, and if I start the NFS software when both my Teensy and your G1000 are plugged in at the same time, I get a "Hardware usb connecting failed: Software will run without hardware" error. If I disconnect my Teensy's USB cable, then start the NFS software, then reconnect my Teensy - it works. I suspect there's something going on with how the NFS software enumerates the devices and gets confused with multiple USB devices sharing the same vendor ID, since you guys are using a Teensy as well. Note that SimControl doesn't have this problem. 7. Turbine inlet temperature (TIT) gauge is missing from the engine instruments, and EGT should not be there. 8. The ordering of some of the elements in the engine instruments are incorrect (see image below for correct ordering). 9. The prop RPM display is incorrect - it shows 1000 RPM when the engine is shut off (it should be 0 - see below from an actual plane) and is pegged to 1500 RPM at idle. Let me know if you want more details or if there are logs or diagnostics data I can collect for you that would help with any of these. Actual G1000 display in the M20 Acclaim for reference: The NFS G1000 integrated into my sim panel - finally!
