Hello Terry, If this gets your attention could you please answer another quick question? Well ther's my first quick question! 😄 When you were using your Brunner FFB yoke, did everything work properly with the autopilot when you were using NFS harware at the same time? For me there is a conflict. I think that with NFS sending commands to the sim, and Brunner's CLS2Sim software attempting to send autopilot feedback from the sim to the yoke/joystick, some signals are getting crossed. I've tried CLS2Sim versions from 1 1/2 years ago and my joystick functions the same with all of them. Just seems surprising that you would have normal performance with the NFS & Brunner working at the same time and mine won't work properly. Anyway I'm rambling. Your feedback would be appreciated. Austin, Hope you had a nice trip home. I discovered my problem 🙂I fly with a Brunner Force Feedback Joystick. It interfaces with the Sim platforms using its own software CLS2Sim. When CLS2Sim isn't running my NFS works beautifully. Start CLS2Sim and the plane wonders off. Close CLS2Sim and it rejoins the autopilot. For me that's both good news and bad news. I'm thrilled my NFS works. I'm a little disappointed it won't work with my Brunner Stick. The Brunner adds immersion to hand flying like the NFS adds immersion to instrument flying. I'll let Brunner know. As you may know, Brunner is out of Switzerland and makes amazing industrial strength hardware. Their yoke and rudders combined with your G1000 NFS would be the ultimate (non Cirrus) PC based training device! However, not if the drivers aren't compatible Do you know if their is an error log being recorded that might capture what happens to my NFS when I start my Brunner software? It might help Brunner. Thanks very much Terry. unpowered and did as you recommended. Still the same. This is what I can do with my NFS. Change Comm & Nav Freqs, Change HDG, ALT, CRS, BARO. My soft keys can lchange CDI and XPDR. All of these changes are reflected on the X-Plane 172 PFD/MFD as well as the NFS PFD/MFD. I can fly any airplane in any sim utilizing my NFS PFD to include the FD. My NFS NAV Display gives a moving map for any aircraft I fly. My NFS engine instruments display engine data. What I can't do is while flying the C172 G1000, display the FD in sim or use the AP to control the 172. If I tell my NFS to proceed Direct KIAD, my NFS displays all the appropriate info but the in sim 172 has no idea what I want to do. When you fly the 172 in X-Plane is your NFS FD and NAV info displayed on the 172 PFD/MFD or just the NFS PFD/MFD? Hope that made sense. Thanks for your help Don
