Updated: Aug 18, 2023

Step by step setup from start to finish of the NFS Cirrus Console. Console hardware is shipped FedEx and will be delivered disassembled in separate boxes. All screws needed for assembly are included.

What you will need:

  • Having an assistant for the setup process is very helpful.

  • Philips head screwdriver

  • 5/64 hex wrench (included)

  • Black Duct Tape *optional

FAA Approved Systems Include:

BATD configuration comes with a separate 24" instructors operating station on mobile base, CAPS button and official FAA Letter of Authorization (LOA) allowing the ability to log time for flight training and IFR currency in accordance with Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations (14 CFR) § 61.4(c).

For FAA approved systems, please see the Instructor Operating Station (IOS) Setup video below.

Recommended Items:

  • A chair without wheels and with flip up or removable armrest is required for proper rudder pedal and throttle use. We recommend the Office Factor chair for comfort and functionality. https://a.co/d/igPgD7C

  • If you are planning on using a live ATC program such as PilotEdge, we recommend using the Corsair HS60 PRO - 7.1 Headset that can be plugged into any USB port on your PC. https://a.co/d/9vC4sSs

I’m glad I came across this article. I’ve been looking for clear information on this topic for quite some time, and the explanations here were much easier to understand compared to many other sources I’ve checked. Recently, I also decided to explore this guide about What THC percentage is considered high THC, and it turned out to be a really interesting topic to dive into. It’s always helpful to find resources that explain complex things in a simple and practical way.
