OK, here is the testing I have done. I first had the bolster cable plugged into a usb3+ on my PC. I switched it to the back of my cirrus yoke (w/o Power Supply). Both locations needed the cable reset each time. After I received the email from Tyler, I switched it back to several usb3 ports on my PC. No improvement. Then I switched it back to the yoke's extra usb ports and added a power supply to the yoke. It then reconnected perfectly for many tries. During these trials the P/S was plugged into a hard outlet. When I was cleaning up my cable management I plugged the P/S into a strip outlet that I use for several P/S's such as an ethernet 5 port hub and a few other things. This strip outlet is turned off when the Sim is completely shut down. It is always turned on before the NFS and X-Plane software is activated. About the third activation using the on and off power strip the bolster again did not connect. I put that P/S back on a full time outlet and it has worked perfectly for about 10 activation's since then. I am happy now and will add more info if things change.
